Jesus in the Neighborhood

About Jesus in the Neighborhood

In 2022, as part of a denominational-wide initiative, the McPherson Church of the Brethren established a strategic plan called “Jesus in the Neighborhood.” Through updated congregational feedback, the church decided to focus on four areas of ministry: Care for God’s Creation; Partner for Social & Racial Justice; Emphasize Service & Peacemaking; and Prioritize Young Adults, Young Families & Youth. In 2025, the congregation reviewed its initiatives in each of these four areas.

    Stewardship & Charity

    Giving Out of Gratitude

We give because God has given so much to us. Being good stewards of those blessings means putting them to the best possible uses. This church can carry out its ministries only because those who value them give generously. Thank you for your support!
